No Eye Has Seen (He Is Who He Is), arranged for Elementary Piano

He Is Who He Is!

Merciful and gracious,

  patient, slow to anger,

    rich in lovingkindness, faithfulness.

He Is Who He Is!

Steadfast love for thousands.

  Lavishing forgiveness

matching with the riches of His grace.

Robert E. Benton, Jr.

Exodus 34:6-7; 1 Cor. 2; 2 Cor. 4,5

This hymn’s refrain recounts the LORDs testimony of Himself during Moses’ Exodus 34 encounter in the Cleft of the Rock and views it in the context of Paul’s letters to the Corinthians. The LORD’s name means that He Is Who He Is — and He proclaims himself merciful and gracious, patient, slow to anger, rich in loving-kindness, faithfulness. He Is Who He Is!

The composer has arranged this version of hymn for elementary piano with an optional teacher’s duet. Full lyrics are available as a benefit to the entire family.
